Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our products, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams, to deliver high-quality and reliable PCB designs that support our product development goals.
About the Role
Lead PCB design and development for measuring equipment, ensuring reliability and precision.
Select components and sensors for accuracy, reliability, and industry compatibility.
Ensure that PCB designs adhere to relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601.
Develop test plans and procedures for PCB validation, including functional testing, environmental testing, and reliability testing, to verify compliance with performance specifications and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including PCB schematics, layout files, bill of materials (BOM), and design verification/validation reports, in accordance with quality management systems.
Qualifications
1-5 years of experience in PCB design, with a focus on medical / semiconductor measuring equipment or similar precision electronic systems.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, signal processing, power electronics, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles.
Expertise with designing & integration of Bluetooth or wireless protocols into devices as medium for communication
Proficiency in CAD tools for PCB design, such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar create PCB layouts optimized for signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and manufacturability.
Basic programming skills in languages such as C/C++ for firmware development and microcontroller programming and integration
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/ Electronics Engineering,
Master’s degree is a plus.
